Reply:This is a scam. Do not respond to it, and do not click on the links in the e-mail. Clicking on a link can bring you to a virus loaded address, or it can install a tracking cookie or several of them.
Reply:no this is a scam and many have been going out to people just like yourself. It is spam so spam it and delete it and that way no more like it should come again.
Reply:Had the same emailmate, i binned it, by the way there are other scams going around saying you have won in a sweepstake, thats a lot of crap if you pardon the expression. Oh and one more, a company saying you can do mystery shopping for them, but they are asking for money up front for admin, so dod that dave xx
Reply:Did you sign up for a yahoo! lottery? Did you buy a ticket? No, you didnt.

Its a scam. All internet lotteries are scams. More than likely from Nigeria. You send them you personal information and they id theft you.

They are preying on the fact that when people see "free money" that they will jump on it without thinking. And unfortunantly it works.

If you ever get an email like this again, dont even open it, just delete it. Many of these scam emails use what is called a "pixel pic" to see if you opened it or not. Not going into alot of detail, it is a pic in the email the size of one pixel, and when you open the email, it downloads the pic from their website. Now they know that someones actually checks that email address, and you will get more and more spam/scams in your email.
Reply:Yes it is a scam. If you email back with the details they ask for I can guarantee the next thing they will ask you for is money, usually in the form of a small ‘holding fee’ which all the people who fall for it pay and end up not getting back. Well done for questioning it!
Reply:Sorry friend but there is no Microsoft, Yahoo or other e-mail lottery, it's a scam do not answer do not give personal information. The following sites give more information
