Reply:You should have gotten a notice. Those mails are also known to be fake. Don't send too many at once but you will get the string verification for that. Call them.

How can see the whole email again?
I've just opened an email on my AOL system which contained pictures in the body of the email. They downloaded directly into the email as I opened it. They were not in an attachment. I then closed the email to read another one. Afterwards, I went back to the original email because I wanted to forward it, but this time it wouldn't open the pictures at all and the 'forward' button wasn't highlighted. Where have the pictures gone? They weren't an attachment so haven't downloaded to my system in the normal way as I can't find them anywhere and they are no longer in the original email - although the text to each of the pictures is still there!! How do I get to look at the email's content again? It can't be a 'once only' thing surely.

How do I know if Yahoo is blocking people from sending me an email. If they are how do I find out why?

Lost Email When Click Send?
For the 2nd time in the last month, I've lost an important email for a time- and content-sensitive issue. I had to work hard to get the wording just right and when I click send, a screen appears. It says that for some reason (not explained) there is a problem. The recommendation is that I should close email then log in again. Of course all the time I spent getting the emails just right is lost along with the email. Clicking the Back arrow just takes me to my inbox and the email is nowhere to be found. Logging out and then back in has the same result.
I've had this account for 5 years and have used Mozilla Firefox the entire time without having this problem before.

I need a free email software that I can send screen captures with as easy as possible. I don't know why even Vista's Windows Email STILL isn't convenient and super simple to send (and receive) screen captures.. Isn't this the day of high tech and super easy transmissions? Why does one have to save the dang thing first or put it in word as file and then attach it? And if one DOES succeed in putting an image in the body of an email, then why can't the receiver SEE it? Instead all he gets if a bunch of * or something equally stupid.

Whenever any type of file is created it first must be saved. If you are comparing this to Office, where you can click Sent To, and then select Email Recipient, the program first saves the file and then attaches the file to the email. It only *seems* like the document, excel sheet, or whatever type of file it is, is not being saved first as a file.
The act of sending a file straight from, lets say Word, is actually several actions carried out automatically behind the scene. This is probably a ridiculously stupid question, but can people email me using yahoo? Meaning "outsiders" such as people using hotmails accounts. I have never used this email, but since I have an account for answers, im guessing I can use it for email.

I received an email from my husband who's deployed right now. his email-address didn't show any errors. it was name@yahoo.com. When I replied, I got failure-notices saying, that he doesn't have a yahoo.com account???? but he was able to send me an email from his email-address. what's wrong with that???

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

I receive emails frequently from one particular email address via Yahoo mail on my Blackberry. Sometimes, when I try to reply, or even compose a new email message to this recipient, it gets returned saying that the email address is invalid. I confirm it's correct, and try to resend and most of the times it doesn't work, although occassionally it does. I never have this problem from my desktop. It seems to happen pretty frequently. Any idea how to fix this?

1. Close all browser windows. 2. Open a new browser window. 3. Click on Tools at the top of your screen. 4. Click on the bottom choice - Internet Options. 5. On the Internet Options drop-down menu, go to the middle section titled Temporary Internet Files. 6. Delete all cookies (button in the middle) 7. Delete all temporary-files (button in the middle) - this step took about 3 minutes - patience! 8. Clear History (button on bottom right-hand corner) when done with all cleanups, click OK at the bottom of the Internet Options screen. This did work for me, Good luck!

Someone forwarded an email to me, only his email didn't show. Does this mean he has another acct and is lying?
I received an email from a guy friend. He sent it from an email acct I know of, but said he was forwarding me an email. Only in the list of email addresses his email address that I know of wasn't listed. It listed it being sent from some girl to some other email address. Is there any reason why his email address wouldn't show on a forwarded email? Or is he likely lying and has other email accounts? Hmmm seems odd to me. Thanks for any help!

If you confirmed it, make sure you clicked the link specified in the confirmation email .. sometimes it is concealed when you first open the message because of safety issues.
If you DID do everything absolutely right, then perhaps it takes a few hours to update

When someone sends me an email and then shuts their email down...?
Okay, here's the scenario...
You've had a "difference of opinion" with another Y!A user.
You find in your email an email from this user.
They say some nasty things, or incorrect things, in it, and you wish to email them back.
The message says "Reply to this email"... you click on the link, and it goes to their profile which says that they do not allow emails.
That means that they sent you an email and then SHUT DOWN their emailing capacity so you are unable to respond.
HERE'S MY QUESTION.....
When someone DOES this "shut down" WHY can't Yahoo allow it to be "over-ridden"... at LEAST for "one last time" (so to speak) to allow for a reply? Afterall... the initial email was "unsolicited." Wouldn't it at least be FAIR to allow one to respond to it if they so desire?

An interesting question, but by asking this question you've alerted the person bothering you that you were annoyed by what they did. In essence, you let him/her "win," the same way that replying to the email would let him/her "win."

This happened to me once, and the person was autom-
atically removed. (They were really 'losing it' in their
nasty e-mails to me)! On "Reality Shows"! sheesh.
Also, Block this person, and now. This will prevent
them FROM a continued harassment, should they wish
to do so.
We can't always read the minds of others, especially in
this sterile, anonymous world.

Msn Email Filter?
Would that have ANYTHING behind the problem of, Not being able to get an email sent from Habbo Hotel? I was supposed to get an Email from habbo hotel, For something Important.
On my other email accounts, I receive there email, But on the one I need it to send it to.. It dosent come at all. I have tried to put the security level on my msn settings to low, I have checked my junk box. Still nothing. Help?

Is there any kind of email system, platform or software that prevents recipients from forwarding emails?
Many have had the unfortunate experience of an email that they sent in private to one individual, being forwarded to others who were not the intended recipients. Many times there are unfortunate reverberations from this, particularly when the information transmitted was sensitive and not meant for anyone else but the original recipient.
One can try to post legal warnings in their email that this is not to be forwarded without the express permission of the author.
But from a technology standpoint, is there an email solution that would absolutely PREVENT a recipient from electronically forwarding an original email they received so that it could only be viewed by the intended recipient or at least via the email inbox with the appropriate password for access to that inbox?
One can always copy an email and send it out in a completely separate transmission. But I'm curious if there is an email innovation to prevent electronic forwarding of original transmissions.

Gosh , I accedentally logged out of my YouTube account and then I forgot my password. So I sent it to my email address and I waited for like an hour to get it. I logged out of my yahoo email and went to my other email on Yahoo. I went back to YouTube and clicked forgot password again and sent it to the other email address. It got it , but how come my current one doesn't get it? I get other email but why won't it get it?

you may need to update your account settings in Youtube to reflect your new email address. Most websites will only allow for 1 email address and if your getting the forgot password information on your old email then chances are youtube still sees that as your primary email address.

Can't Receive email since 28-Mar-07?
I can't receive any yahoo email since 28-Mar-07. Normally, I got more than 10 emails per day. I performed several test.
1. Send a email to my yahoo account use yahoo email, but no received.
2. use another gmail account to send a email to yahoo account, I can't receive the email from yahoo account. But a mailer-daemon return message returned to gmail account. The message mentioned fail to send email to my alternative email address, this address configed in yahoo personal profile. Then I removed the alternative address from yahoo profile, and retry again, but still no email received.
3. My friend send a email to my yahoo account, they also receive the mailer-daemon return message for the alternative account is unreachable.
Anyone know what happen to my account. I already removed my alternative email address from the yahoo profile. But the yahoo server seems haven't update it.
Can't Receive email since 28-Mar-07?

Thousands are having all kinds of problems with their mail since the new format, with Server Farm issues with Original Mail AND Beta Mail, several months ago!
Yahoo! and Sun Java are also having conflicts. Rather than trying to work around them, here is the easy and fastest way to cure them (for most). Go to Tools, open Internet Options, and select Advance tab. Scroll down the list and see if you have Microsoft Virtual Machine listed, if so, uncheck the 2 java’s listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. and then Close. This lets MSN virtual machine launch Yahoo! mail.

Also: you will have less problems with Mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger. 2. use another gmail account to send a email to yahoo account, I can't receive the email from yahoo account. But a mailer-daemon return message returned to gmail account. The message mentioned fail to send email to my alternative email address, this address configed in yahoo personal profile. Then I removed the alternative address from yahoo profile, and retry again, but still no email received.
3. My friend send a email to my yahoo account, they also receive the mailer-daemon return message for the alternative account is unreachable.

Thousands are having all kinds of problems with their mail since the new format, with Server Farm issues with Original Mail AND Beta Mail, several months ago!
Yahoo! and Sun Java are also having conflicts. Rather than trying to work around them, here is the easy and fastest way to cure them (for most). Go to Tools, open Internet Options, and select Advance tab. Scroll down the list and see if you have Microsoft Virtual Machine listed, if so, uncheck the 2 java’s listed. Make sure JIT is checked, click apply then ok. and then Close. This lets MSN virtual machine launch Yahoo! mail.

I have seen many people asking how to remove all previous recipients of a forwarded email. It always seemed trivial to me. Just edit and delete. I began to do further studying and found that forwarded email can be an attachment or inline depending on the email program. I have developed the answer below. Is it correct? As far as I can tell there is no indication of the chain of forwarding in the actual email header.

Comcas email problem?
Hi I have comcast email set up at my house and sometimes when ever I am typing a email and I press spacebar, the entire email scrolls to the bottom of the page and if I try to go back up to the top to continue writing, it comes up with a cross for a mouse pointer and it won't write at all the only way to get back to wrtiting is if I go back and re set the font. It DOES NOT do this at any other computer except for mine. I don't get the email from outlook, it is all web based, so it is not a problem with outlook. I think I may have pressed something on Internet explorer.

Spammers keep changing the FROM addresses and even use the addresses of the people they are spamming. The best advice is protect your address and don't let spam start. Okay; so my dad got a new laptop. and her gave me his laptop im currently on. %26amp; It works perfect and everything. But before my parents email would work fine. but when his old one, the email stopped working. My dad didnt get his new one till the 21st [feb] The emails stopped on the 18th. I have received couple Emails from forward senders, but these senders are my friends. For example: When I check to see who sends me the Email, I would see that the email is being forwarded to about 90 people. However, I do notice the email is forwarded to me by my friend. The Email reads:
"The President of Argentina received this letter and called it 'junk mail', 8 days later his son died.
%26gt; A man received this letter and immediately sent out copies...his surprise was winning the lottery.
%26gt; Albert o M artinez received this letter , gave it to his secretary to make copies but they forgot to distribute:

%26gt; This letter is miraculous and sacred, don't forget to forward this within 13 days to at least 20 people.

Those are chain letters, and their only purpose is to perpetuate themselves. Why they are created, I have no idea- maybe some people simply want to get attention or do something interesting (though annoying). Do NOT send chain letters! The "threats" and "rewards" listed are patently FALSE, and if you send them, a good portion of those you send them to will get annoyed because chain letters are, indeed, USELESS. Just ignore them, delete them, don't even READ them if possible.

Someone I know received a disturbing email,it stated someone they knew what to kill them. And if he wanted to know who just pay certain amount of dollars, and as result of payment they would stay alive, also they would give them who wanted them dead. Ok, what should this person do, and how does this person find out who sent this disturbing email. It also stated in the email if this person did not respond they would do the job. How would this person figure out who sent this email.,and who do they need to contact in law enforcement.

Comments: Hello, I am writing in regaurds to a queston I have concerning an email I keep recieving. I keep recieving an email message stating it is from yahoo and that they need some account information to verify accounts because yahoo is getting rid of accounts that are not being used, that is understandable, I don't understand why some of the information being asked for needs to be. Either way I want to keep my account so if I do need to enter this information I will but I want to make sure this email that is being sent is laget. There are a lot of spam out there and people trying to get personal information so I just want to make sure this email was sent from Yahoo. I have called my family who have yahoo and they have not recieved this email so that is what puts up a red flag for me. Has anyone else been getting this email, do we need to enter the information they are asking for and email it back to the sender in order for our accounts to stay active.

There is an online networking community called "facebook" "www.facebook.com" where ppl can share personal info, get into friends networking, share photos etc. I am also a member of this particular community. But not everybody can get into all the network(especially work/college) unless authenticated. This authentication is done using the valid email address. And in this regard i want to get into a network which i do not belong to...and hence i don't have a valid email id to get authenticated..as by entering the valid email id, facebook sends email to that particular user and then the user logs into the mail and clicks the link hence gets authenticated for that particular network-community.
Is there any way through false-email where we could get into the required network? To make it more simpler, Heres how it goes; A student at "ABC" college will have an email say, xyz@ABC.com and this email is fed in "facebook" to get authenticated into the "ABC" network-community.

Okay, I have had an email with yahoo for several years. Recently, I decided to create another email account with yahoo. When I created the account, I did not realize that I needed to go into my first email and verify the address before I tried to send an email (from the new second account) with several pictures attached to someone. I know that I typed this person's email address correctly, but they never received the email with the attached pictures. Then, later on, I went into my first account and had an email about verifying my second account. Could this be the reason my attachments did not send? But, I never received an email or error message from yahoo saying that it did not send. ??????? What happened?

ok so when I signed up for Youtube I was supposed to get a confirmation email and I never did so i waited and waited and waited and I checked in all of my spam, bulk and inbox and it never showed up. Forwarding email?
I can no longer forward email from an outside party (third party) to my friends at my former place of employment. I'm told I should highlight the sender's name and all those that were sent the email in addition to myself, then hit delete and everything will be removed and I can send the email on. However, when I hit delete, I lose the entire email. What am I doing wrong? My friends and I enjoy sending happy emails each other and I get them from a third party.

the incoming server is imap.1and1.co.uk, i set this up about 20 mins ago.... i've managed to send and email, but i can't receive and email, i've set this all up in Thunderbird. It does say that itll be about three hours before everything is running properly.
Should i just wait or is there something wrong im doind seeing as i can send email but not receive yet?

A client of mine has AT%26amp;T DSL, but doesn't use the email account that came with it. Instead, he uses email from his web site. When getting/receiving email, he has been using AT%26amp;T's STMP server and his email account's incoming mail server. This was all working fine until recently, when he had to change the SMTP security settings (per an AT%26amp;T tech's instructions). Now he can't receive email. What's up?

I had an email signature when using Yahoo Classic email, and was always given the option of using it or not. Having the option was excellent, because using it was sometimes appropriate, sometimes inappropriate.
With the new Yahoo email I don't have this option, so I have had to turn my signature to "off" - as I said, it's not always appropriate. I really miss not being able to add it to selected emails.

Instead of turning off the signature, why don't you keep it on? When you are sending email where it is inappropriate, just delete it at the end of the email, before hitting the send button. That's what I do.
So instead of turning it on and turning it off which I agree is annoying, all you have to do is remember to delete it from the specific email when necessary. Remembering is easy in my opinion. lol
With the new Yahoo email I don't have this option, so I have had to turn my signature to "off" - as I said, it's not always appropriate. I really miss not being able to add it to selected emails.

I reviewed the response to my first question,I didn’t include enough specific information on the email problem.
The link you provided was to download Yahoo Go2 to my phone. I did this already and have GO2 installed. However, for this phone HTC/Cingular 3125 the download site is showing OS Windows Mobile 6, my phone has Windows Mobile 5.
That may be part of the problem as to why push email does not work. My settings are as follows: General: Connection every 30 minutes,Mail Settings: Mail ConnectionON,Message Alert:ON Confirmation:ON,Push email:ON. Note: not ONCE has this program while running in background on Task Manager,

Try any of the Cingular options and use AUDIOVOX - that exact same phone is made? manufactured (wording not sure ) by AUDIOVOX. i am serious after all the time i have spent trying to get a phone i want-LOl I think I have them all memorized
The main example i can think of is the phone I have
AUDIOVOX ppc6700= and my friend got the samething thru cingular but it was HTC 8125 but of course cingular is now at%26amp;t
so give it a try - choose Audiovox and see if it can be set up.
then u can set unlimited txt messages if that is what you have on plan.

My email account appears to have disappeared. What happened? I need to recover it.?
I was using a yahoo email account to help email old classmates about a reunoin. About 12 hours after I sent out an email to about 120 people, my account just disappeared. I can't sign in at all so I even tried sending an email to that yahoo email address. It came back with a fatal error with no known account. I'm thinking that one of the recipient email servers may have sent back an automated Spam warning since the original email was sent to so many people. Does Yahoo automatically shut down a site that is reported as a Spam site? If it does, can it be recovered? How do I recover the email address?

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

There's no evaluation whatsoever except being of age to pay the taxes to the IRS.
Did you buy a ticket for any lottery? Nobody's giving away winning lottery tickets if you answer their questions. If they claim to be associated with Yahoo! contact Yahoo! for verification and if Yahoo! says there is no such lottery, now you know it's a scam. Click on that URL and let's see if there really is one. Why haven't I heard about this? Why wasn't it well publicized ahead of time? Have you seen this advertised here on Yahoo!?
And why would they need a doctor? Ask Yahoo! about that yahoo and let's see if there is any such doctor. Lotteries do not hire doctors. Lotteries want accountants, number crunchers, statistics, odds-makers. They have to get permission and be verified for their fairness. They are the ones that are asked the questions.
When you answer back you are letting them know how to contact you to scam you/spam you again. They always want to know how to contact a sucker. I can smell their stink all the way over here. I wouldn't waste my time on that.
