Email for a shop?

Hello,

i have opened a new shoe shop. I want an email for the shop, however i want it to be somehow professional. I have a gmail account, but is there an easy and less costly way to get an email, without buying a domain and get an email with it?

Thanks!

Email problem?! help! Please?

Ok. So I have tried emailing my friends from my email, and they get it, but then when they try to reply back, I don't get their emails.

Not 5 minutes later, not a day later, not a week later, I never get them.

This is a recent problem on an old email, and i have emailed these particular people before and have gotton a reply in my inbox.

Now, there is no reason for their email to suddenly go to bulk, right? I don't have the time to look through about 500 bulk emails for one, especially when it should work.

Now, after about 3 days of me not getting any of the emails from my friends that I need, I got a new email account.

Now no one is recieving my emails, except for one person, and that ended up in their bulk.

Now, could this be a problem of me putting my name is "Jane Doe" In my new email?!

Regardless, why is my old email not working?

It is pretty old, at least a couple years.

Email problem?! help! Please?
You could send, but not receive---even the replies---???? right ? Was that to ALL---or only a few ?? Whatever-----try this.

Check your blocked list.

It happens quite often that addresses get accidentally blocked---by you or Yahoo.

On mail page, click on "options" (top right)---then click "block addresses". Look for your friends addresses on the list, and if you find them---highlight them---click "remove block".

For your new account---maybe your friends don't have the new address in their address book yet. The name (Jane Doe) should have nothing to do with it.

Good luck.
Reply:well, we need to know how your "getting" your email...

is it web based? like yahoo or is it a pop account? like say for example in Outlook Express?

Email read notification?

Does any of the paid email service of yahoo has a feature that allows u to know when an email i sent has been read? I set up a free AOL email account and sent an email to my yahoo account to test it. I opened my email on yahoo but the AOL email status feauture doesnt tell me that i read it which means it doenst work, at least if the person im e mailing doesnt have AOL. I know outlook express offers that service but it is safe to set it up in a shared computer?? Also if the person that Im emailing have yahoo and not Outlook express will I be able to know if he opened my mail??

Email read notification?
You are trying to request a "Read Receipt"

I think that the only time that you can provide a Read Receipt is if you are on the same domain, a shared network (ie. both on AOL or on a company network).

Outlook Express is just an Email Client, the "Read Receipt" is generated by the Email Server (so having Outlook doesn't help, the server you connect to has to be set up to help you)

I don't think Yahoo offers that capability
Reply:Yes.
Reply:Yahoo mail does Not have that feature! Also, you can only know if an email has been read in outlook express if the recipient sends you back the receipt.

Email notifier? is there an email programme I can use that tells me when I get e new email?

I am curently with BT Yahoo but I have to refresh my page to see if I have new email..I used to be with AOL and was great with getting a "you have email" spoken when I got a new email. Is there a programme I can use off the net that has some kind of bleep, buzzer etc when I get a new email..but still stay with bt yahoo? I used outlook express but that doesn notify me either, I have to keep refreshing...

Email issues......?

Okay, here is a good one. Maybe someone else out there has experienced this?

What is up with an email that has NO SENDER, NO SUBJECT LINE? Could this be a virus? It is so weird...

I have received 2 emails of this nature over the last week and I cannot fathom how someone can send an email to me that does not show the senders address. I can understand no subject line on an email, but no sender? What would enable someone to send an email w/o showing their email address?

I have deleted them because I don't want to open them up for fear of something strange being on the email.

Email issues......?
Your smart to delete it. Your right it isn't possible.

If you do ever open it which I don't advise, open up the headers to full and it will show you their ip address and lots more info.

But my advise would be to just delete it without opening it. It's too dangerous to open from unknown people.

If an email address is blocked from a work email..?

do some email addresses differ in regards to receiving an email back that the email will no longer go through? i.e. a different work email address being block vs a yahoo email being blocked?

ex: im at work and IT blockx someones work email or yahoo email

If an email address is blocked from a work email..?
Yes. Everyones email address differs when it comes to blocks. At you work for instance: You might not be able to email a friend. But at home you can. Some Blocks are created by yourself in options. Some are forbidden on a network. Some are made through a computer manager filter. The list is endless.
