Ok.. So my friend is having troubles on his myspace. He forgot his password and he has clicked forgot my password and typed his email in A LOT for the past couple of days. And myspace is not sending back his password to his email address. If anyone knows how to fix this please tell me. I have even tried to send my password to my email which is a yahoo and it worked just fine. But he has a hotmail. and it just isnt working.

i have opened a new shoe shop. I want an email for the shop, however i want it to be somehow professional. I have a gmail account, but is there an easy and less costly way to get an email, without buying a domain and get an email with it?

Email problem?! help! Please?
Ok. So I have tried emailing my friends from my email, and they get it, but then when they try to reply back, I don't get their emails.
Not 5 minutes later, not a day later, not a week later, I never get them.

Does any of the paid email service of yahoo has a feature that allows u to know when an email i sent has been read? I set up a free AOL email account and sent an email to my yahoo account to test it. I opened my email on yahoo but the AOL email status feauture doesnt tell me that i read it which means it doenst work, at least if the person im e mailing doesnt have AOL. I know outlook express offers that service but it is safe to set it up in a shared computer?? I have been looking online for jobs at universities. I found a job that seemed to fit me but it said applications must be received by December 14, 2007. I was wondering why would it still be up then? They supply an email. Should I email the HR department to see if they are still looking and just forgot to change the date? Is it better to just call as a general inquiry? Also, if I do sent an email should I send one that is similar to a cover letter?

Disguising your business email address?
Is it possible to disguise your email address and not be blacklisted or is that a red flag because you are hiding your true identity?
For example say my email address is 312@abc.com and I disguise it as coming from chris@business.com. What I am doing is taking my home email address and making it my business address but making it look more professional.
I know how to set this up I am just wanting to know if it will blacklist my email address and make it so my clients do not get my email I am sending because servers think it is spam.

I assume this is the first or second time you sen th mail to this particular guy, what is it tha they have safeguards in place to stop spamming, In subject did you say hi, hello or pic, they go straight to spam, what you do is send him another "saying" i was thinking" in the subject" surely it will go, this happened wit my new account.
Reply:There's a typo in the address? Does the failure notification give a reason for the failure? Have the other person send you an e-mail, and then add his/her address to your contact list to avoid typing mistakes. Hope this helps...

I emailed an application to an elementary school applying for a summer internship around 10 days ago and never heard back. No phone number was given, just an email. Should I email a follow up? What should I say? I was hoping to at least get an interview, because I had a lot of applicable experience for a student. I always feel obnoxious pestering people about my applications. There was no definite end date for hiring.

Is there a way to be 100% sure that the receiver of our eMail has received our eMail ? I already know that we can set the options in our eMail receiving software to always ask for READ RECEIPT CONFIRMATION from the receiver. This method is not a foolproof one.

Ya you never want to open spam messages. Never a good idea there. Yahoo is pretty good about resolving its problems unlike Myspace. haha but anyway just give the Yahoo's some time to work the problems out. I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo email through Outlook so that might be the same thing.

Also what program is this? Outlook? Yahoo's on-site mail system?

Ya you never want to open spam messages. Never a good idea there. Yahoo is pretty good about resolving its problems unlike Myspace. haha but anyway just give the Yahoo's some time to work the problems out. I am having trouble accessing my Yahoo email through Outlook so that might be the same thing.

Hi there, this is just a niggly problem but it is quite annoying.
When I switch my computer on (there are 3 user accounts on my computer) and log in my email from outlook works absolutley fine but if someone else logs on there email doesnt work(come up with "could not connect to server error message)
I have searched on google but this seems to be a specific problem so any answers are much appreciated

Hello,
Outlook will only get the email for whomever is currently logged in on their screen (currently active).
So, when you are logged in under your account and outlook is configured correctly for you then it will only retrieve your emails.
Like-wise when someone logs in on their screen then outlook will only retrieve their emails and if their server info is not installed correctly then you will get the error message that you are trying to describe.
In other words each user's account will only get their emails when they are logged in and actively working -each account needs to have outlook setup just for them with their settings (passwords, incoming and outgoing mail server settings etc.)
Hope that sort of explains what needs to happen for them to get their emails when they are logged in!

My boyfriend just broke up with me. Its been 2 weeks. We have been going out for 1.5 years. It was a rocky relationship with lots of ups and downs. BCC (blind carbon copy) if a use has the setting of not showing CC: BB: then they wont see it. if they do show it they will see it. thats what happened to me with all 8 of mine.

About 3 weeks ago, many of my customers with yahoo addresses started experiencing trouble with receiving the email from their order from our site. I found out the hard way too. Don't try to bounce them back. It usually doesn't work, and if it does, it only confirms that your address is "live".

Note: in both mails you should sign out and back in again to make sure that the settings are taking affect.

ok so everytime I send someone a message they get the message, and then when they reply I get their message now here comes the problem. I'm getting a new email address with gmail because Yahoo has been giving me some problems for the last couple of months and it's just time to get a new email address. I really like softball and street hockey can you think of an email address for me at gmail that has either something to do with street hockey or softball I'd rather it be softball but either would work. Ok, so I just bought the Moto Q Global from AT%26amp;T. Great phone, but I have a problem. So when you click on the messaging button, it brings up a menu. One of the options is to add a new email account. I did that with my yahoo account, and it works great. But after I synced the phone with my computer, a link to outlook email appeared on the menu. But my yahoo was still there separate. So I thought the yahoo account might be set up on at%26amp;t's xpress mail client, which is $5 a month. Am I right? I don't want to pay that, but I still would like the mobile email. Can anyone help me?

I am having trouble send email on my new macbook.. I can receive it just find, just, when I try to send an email or reply to an email. This is the error message I get:

I just checked my preferences since I have a Mac and Comcast. It shows smtp.comcast.net and port 25 on mine, too. Go into your preferences in Mail and make sure that you have a POP account, look under server settings and see if you have any type of authentication checked. Mine is not checked.
You might need to do a software update on your Macbook. Sometimes they issue an update after the software is loaded on your computer.
Before doing any updates, go to Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility and run the Repair Permissions program. This should be done at least once a month to keep everything where it belongs. After that for system preferences (located on your dock) and run Software Update.
This might solve all your problems, but if not, call Apple and they will walk you through what needs to be done.

With any other POP email program, you can change the reply to email address, (Outlook, Netscape, ect). I have an email address with an organization that I've used for years, which allows me to forward any email sent to the organization address to any email address I want. This way I can change my ISP without the hassle of announcing to all that my email address has changed. When I moved from NY, and I changed from Roadrunner to Comcast, the email address I gave to everyone still worked, when I changed from Comcast to Verizon FIOS, my email address still works I don't see that option any were in Verizon Yahoo. Every time I reply or forward, it automatically adds XX@verizon.net for the reply to address. Could it be intentional to discourage being able to change ISP providers?? Who knows when I may change back to Comcast.............................

There are 8 people in an email list I use frequently. Of the 8, 4 have email address with Bellsouth. For some reason the emails for four people that have bellsouth accounts are frequently canceled. I use ThunderBird to send my emails. My ISP is Bellsouth. One of the emails is returned from MAILER-DAEMON@n9.bullet.re3.yahoo.com I get the following reason for the cancelation: "Mail server for "bellsouth.net" unreachable for too long"

In Outlook (not Outlook Express) I created an entry in the address book named "Undisclosed Recipients" to use in the "to" field of emails so I can keep the real recipients addresses hidden in the "bcc" field. It's simple enough to create the entry, but an email address is required. If I use my own email address, I get the email sent back to me, which I'd rather not do. If I use a bogus address (me@example.com) I get a bounce notice, again cluttering up my inbox. Is there any way around this?

the email could be in your deleted mail box, but it empties itself at random times, so i don't know if you'll be able to retrieve it.

Our department sends out marketing emails on a weekly basis and would like to get a feel for the number of users opening the email and/or clicking through the links within the email.
I've read about pixel tracking, which is not the best option since several email clients now have images turned off to prevent tracking. In addition, I've seen articles that tell you to add an image link to the HTML email and will be picked up in the web logs for further processing. The link looks something like this:

The articles I've read say this link will be processed when the email is opened but I can't figure out how. Is the page actually being processed and sent to the web server? I have set my default email as yahoo mail in internet explorer-%26gt;internet options--%26gt; Programs Tab ---%26gt; Email. But whenever i click any email link or if i want to send a web pag (IE--%26gt;file--%26gt;send--%26gt;page by email , the yahoo composer does not open but it only opens the yahoo mail page. But it does not happen when the email is uotlook express by default. If it is outlook express, on clicking an email link it takes you to the composing page of outlook express. For my company I want to send out a marketing email to 800+ brokers across the country for properties I am trying to get leased. However, I am unsure if their spam fitlers will block the email because of how many email addresses the email is going to. How could I figure this out without spending money for a special service?

Ok, so I got this guy's email and he put down that it was first.last@mu.edu (his name and then the @ thing) so I typed that in assuming that that was the right email adress while he never responded to me and after a week I found out that it is really suppose to be first.last@marquette.edu would that make a huge difference if it got 2 him or not. The first email never got returned saying that was undelievable. wht's going on?

My dad wrote an email to my gf and...?
Basically the email was regarding a few important queries about her.
Me and my gf (both 27, both Germans) have been going steady for quite a while and we are now thinking of marrying. Since my dad is busy with his business he has never had a chance to sit down and get to know her. Hence, he asked me whether he could ask her a few things on email or not. I asked my gf and she said she would be glad to reply to the email.
It has been 3 weeks since my dad sent her the email and she hasn't replied yet. She keeps telling me she will reply soon but she never does. She has enough time to hang out with friends, party etc. but still doesn't have time to reply.
1. Does this show a complete lack of respect?
2. Isn't it the simple things which tell one about the inner person?
3. How would this have looked if her dad had written me an email and I had not replied?
4. And how do I tell her politely that I don't like her not replying to the email?

I don't know.......your g/f might be thinking that it is showing disrespect to her because he is to busy with business to call or even better, meet her in person( e-mail is kind of cold for a question and answer session), if as you say, there is a chance you two will marry, than they should meet in person and he can ask these questions to her face. I bet if you talked with your g/f she would let you know that she is probably uncomfortable in answering these mysterious queries about her by e-mail.......my true opinion is that e-mailing is a cold way to know a person that might be a part of the family....I think she is right in not answering him.....they should meet!
