It is a scam.

Ignore it .

There is no such thing as a Great British Pound.

They are pounds stirling.

Nobody in the Uk calls them Great British Pounds , I have never heard that before, it is obviously from some other country where they dont know English.

There we are go on this link, its a fraud.

If you did not buy a ticket you have not won.
Reply:This is a SCAM. Check out the below link for confirmation of various email scams hitting the internet including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them:

http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/or...

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Just remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

.Also If you go to the following site you will get some info on ID theft www.identity-theft.org.uk the iinternet is safe enough if you are careful but please answer nothing that you are doubtful about.Good Luck and be careful
Reply:Oh DUH! This is spam. You didn't win a prize in a contest you didn't enter, that doesn't exist in the first place. Put it in spam along with all the others you will now receive.
Reply:The whole thing is nothing but an outright scam. You're better of getting it spammed into the trash right away. You'll never get anything out of this "bogus" lottery.
Reply:I would say to you, that if you are not sure about anything you recieve by E-mail do not respond until you have done everything you can to confirm its authenticity. In a world where ID theft an fraud are almost the norm, go with your instincts. I'm not saying that it's not real, but there is a good chance that it may be. i hope this helps you.
Reply:You've GOT to be kidding!!! Did you enter a lottery? Do you really think even if you did enter a lottery that you'd be notified via email? Did examples of this question come up in the process of posting this question? IT'S A SCAM. There is no such lottery. You didn't enter a lottery. You haven't won a lottery. Just delete it. Everyone here has probably received an email saying they've won a lottery or some prize.... ALL SCAMS!!
