Email Problem........... HELPPP!!!!!!!?

i'm not quite sure how 2 explain what my problem is with my Email, but i'll try by giving an example. say my friend "bob" wrote me an email. so i hit the reply button and reply 2 his email. no problem. but then he'll reply back 2 that email, "Who's Jane Brown??" every email i send sayz Jane Brown then my email next 2 it. my name IS NOT Jane Brown. Example below.

Email Problem........... HELPPP!!!!!!!?
For Yahoo! mail regular:


click "options" (top right) on your mail page, click "general preferences". In "name and e-mail" you may change which name appears in the "from" field for mails you want to send. In "reply to" changes are also possible. Make sure you save your new settings!





For Yahoo! mail beta:


click "options" (top right) on your mail page, click "mail options", an info box will be displayed, click "ok", click "general preferences", from here on follow directions as given for mail regular.





Note: in both mails you should sign out and back in again to make sure that the settings are taking affect.

Reply:if you login to yahoo mail on the right handside up near the top select options, then account information, then scroll down...there will be a spot where you can edit how your name appears on emails. hope that helps!
