EMail received confirmation from the receiver ?

Is there a way to be 100% sure that the receiver of our eMail has received our eMail ? I already know that we can set the options in our eMail receiving software to always ask for READ RECEIPT CONFIRMATION from the receiver. This method is not a foolproof one.

EMail received confirmation from the receiver ?
If you are talking about a company network where everyone is using the same mail system, you should be able to set that option in the same window where you set the Read Reciept Request. If you are sending the mail to another network, your mail system administrators can run some reports to verify that the recipient's network got it but not the actual mailbox--- for example, if you send to jane@company.com your admins can find out that company.com recieved the message but not that it actually got forwarded along to Jane. But you'd have to have pretty good reason before you asked your mail admins to get that information for you, and they'd probably never do that for more than a few emails every now and then because, depending on the software they use, that could be a lot of work! If you are talking about your personal mail account, you are probably out of luck.

It will never be 100% foolproof to get this kind of confirmation because it involves reading log files that belong to another company and most companies treat that as confidential information.
