1. Can someone hack into my email if they do not have my password?
2. If someone were to hack into my email, could they have any access to DELETED emails? I'm talking about deleted out of the trash and nothing in the recycle bin... I have a Yahoo email acct. and an SBC Global email acct. (pretty much the same thing). I don't know if one email provider is safer than others in this regard, etc.
3. When an email is deleted from your trash bin (and is not in the recycle bin), is it permanently deleted? I've heard that they are gone forever, and I've heard that a good "hacker" can find deleted emails. What's the real answer???
Questions about email/computer hacking?
1. No, they cannot get into your e-mail without your password, although it is possible to bypass the login via SQL injection. But most of the popular sites that host e-mail servers are not vulnerable to it, so you do not have to worry about that.
2. No, they cannot get access to deleted e-mails unless you saved them into your computer, and they were to somehow get a hold of your hard drive.
3. This all depends on the website hosting the e-mail server. But once they have been deleted from the trash bin, it is close to impossible to retrieve it unless there was some kind of an undo feature.
Reply:Surely they would need to know you password
