when u send an email does the person u send it to get it right then or does it take a while?????

It can take as little as a few seconds to as long as a few minutes. Sometimes, rarely, your email doesn't make it to the other person, but that is very, very rare. One way to check if it makes sure it's sent is to CC your own email address on it. That way, you can make sure that it is sent, while also using it as a gauge to see how long it takes to send. Reply:It depends on how fast your computer %26amp; server are and how the other persons is. It usually does not take very long. Just seconds to a few minutes. Hope this helps!!
Reply:The answer is not simple. If you are in an office environment, it can pass through the internal server and can be very fast. But if it has to go out through the internet. depends how many nodes (routers, etc.) it has to go thorugh. It may take 1 msec or might take several minutes. For example I send email from CA (USA) to Italy (Rome) and it can take up to 18 minutes!


It depends on the number of nodes, speed, bottle necks (network speed and congestion) I hope this helps
