is there any email out there that lets me know if someone has received my email or read it... not myspace. ????

AOL does if the person who you sent the e-mail to also has AOL. You can also unsend an unread message to an AOL recipient. It's free!

You can request a Read receipt but most email clients will ignore it, and most that don't will ask the reader if they want to send it or not.





You can insert a webbug (an image on a remote server that will be downloaded when the email is opened), but these are usually blocked by email clients (because they are used by spammers, and who wants to confirm that their email address is real to a spammer?).





Basically, the only ways to know if someone has read an email are to get a response to the email, or to ask them.
