Because of a violation I recieved (and I appealed it and it was denied- it was such a innocent answer) I've been advised to set my profile to not allow people to email me. I really hate this because I would love to hear from my contacts! Would allowing people to contact me benefit or not?

If it was a violation on answers dont worry about your email;. They only suspend your answers account. Your probably better off keeping things private because of stalkers. They are all over. Just give info to your close friends.
